Read the newpaper's article yesterday, another western concert going to get ban from performing in Malaysia AGAIN... Rihanna's concert that will be hold on 13th Jan 09 were objected by PAS party.
Come to think of it, this is totally ridiculous. Why they wanna ban western singer to perform in Malaysia? cuz they think Rihanna too hot to handle? LoL...
Today Star paper's article, one of the reader respond to yesterday's article saying western performance is not insulting eastern culture. Of course it is not... I just don't understand why they will think that western performance are insulting the eastern culture? They are making some lame excuses by not letting western singers/artists to perform here. Rihanna just want to entertain the global with her songs, showing off her singing voice and her sexy body and marketing her album all around the world (for your information: Rihanna won the best-selling singles/album (not sure which) by beating Leona Lewis, Gratz Rihanna) And yesterday there is a poll saying "Should Rihanna's concert be banned?" 71.1% of 800+ voters vote NO.. Malaysian... your the man ~~!!
Well, honestly, I'm not a fan of Rihanna, but Avril Lavigne. I still remember last year performance of hers were also objected by the opposition parties. Eventually, she managed to make her show here. But, I got to know that alot of people not satisfy with the performance, even after I read the report on her live performance on the newspaper, I was so dissapointed. It's like a punk-rocker were restricted to perform punk-rock musics + punk-rock's emotion + punk-rock's atmosphere. I can say, the performance of her in Singapore was way much more entertaining and high than the one she perform in Malaysia.
It's just too much man... come on... It's just a performance, if you don't like it just stay at home and ask your mum to feed you breast milk and shut the fuck up... and I know you guys out there feel the same way too
